Minimising Environmental Impact
Reducing the environmental impact of our operations and those of our customer’s is a crucial part of everything we do. We take pride in offering North West customers a sustainable solution for their Waste Management requirements.
In fact, JWS Waste will always aim to divert at least 98% of our customer’s waste away from landfill.
People Training & Development
JWS Waste take pride in providing all our employees with suitable training and development opportunities. A lot of our training programmes are undertaken in-house at the JWS Waste site including First Aid and Fire Marshall training and Tool Box Talks.
We encourage our employees to thrive by offering additional training opportunities within an employee’s field of work and even the ability for an individual to develop new skills.
We are especially proud of our Apprenticeship Programme that showcases our commitment to people development.
JWS has welcomed a number of Apprentices over the years and working together has been a success for both the Company and the Apprentice.
Community & Charity Support
JWS are passionate about supporting our local community and charitable causes – whether it’s assisting with fundraising events or making beneficial donations.
In particular, projects with an environmental slant are always given priority as these highlight our own values to help protect the environment.
