McGoff & Byrne’s Ongoing Partnership with JWS Ensures Environmental and Operational Requirements are Satisfied
Privately owned construction company McGoff & Byrne Limited has cultivated enduring good relationships with numerous suppliers in over forty years since their establishment. For more than seven of these, JWS has provided their waste handling and recycling services via a Total Waste Management (TWM) agreement.
McGoff & Byrne operate mainly in the North West, across many varied sectors including commercial, industrial, health, education, leisure and hotels, working on projects such as new build nursing homes and refurbishments of traditional public houses.
The reputation for best practice that the company has fostered over the years has enabled them to secure and continue to develop new business while retaining valued existing clients, consultants and supply chain firms, including JWS.
The association between the two businesses, developed during this time, means that JWS has gained a valuable understanding of what is required under the TWM service, as explained by Tim Gallagher of JWS.
“In addition to the expected handling, clearing, separating and recycling of waste at numerous McGoff & Byrne sites, we provide recycling certificates on a monthly basis. These include information on site specific tonnages of waste removed and a breakdown of recycling percentages – a vital tool for reporting figures to clients. For new sites with imminent start dates, we can also produce a Site Waste Management Plan and target budget figures for sites of similar values to aid with cost projections.”
