JWS Waste are proud to announce that we have been shortlisted for the MRW National Recycling Awards 2017 in our partnership with intu Trafford Centre.

We have been shortlisted for the highly esteemed, national award under the “Business Partnership of the Year” Category. This is a great achievement for both JWS and intu Trafford Centre, whose partnership of almost 3 years has already resulted in a silver Green Apple Award for both businesses in 2016.

In particular, this highlights the significant changes following the initiation of the Food Waste Project at intu Trafford Centre. A project which implements a segregated service to that improved the recycling/recovery value of other waste streams whilst establishing a sustainable solution for food waste through Anaerobic Digestion (AD).

Since the project has been established, JWS Waste and intu Trafford Centre have seen incredible results, with both partners striving towards a sustainable solution that benefits the environment. It has been a successful partnership for both JWS Waste and intu Trafford Centre, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have been shortlisted for the MRW National Recycling Awards for 2017.
