Scope of Work
The City of Salford covers an area of 37 square miles includes the districts of Eccles, Worsley, Irlam, Cadishead, Swinton and Pendlebury with a population of around 220,000
JWS was selected through a competitive tender as the preferred contractor to carry out the processing and recycling of materials collected throughout the city. The kerbside collection scheme recovers post consumer papers,mixed colour glass,ferrous and non ferrous cans,plastics,cardboard,wood,textiles,and green garden waste.
JWS accept the recyclables delivered into the MRF and process the materials into bulk loads for further reprocessing into recycled materials. |
