JWS has won a Green World Environment Award in the international campaign to find the world’s greenest countries, companies and communities.
We are thrilled to announce our success in winning a Green World Environment Award for our partnership with intu Trafford Centre. We competed against over 500 nominations in the Green World Awards for Environmental Best Practice and it is a fantastic achievement to see little old JWS from Salford succeed at a global level. Our trophy and certificate will be presented at a glittering presentation in Dubai on 11th December.
Recently, our winning paper was published in The Green Book, which was another outstanding achievement for JWS. The Green Book is a leading international work of reference on environmental best practice. You can find out more about this in our previous news post.
These awards are organised by The Green Organisation, an international, independent, non-political, non-profit environment group dedicated to recognising, rewarding and promoting environmental best practice around the world.
They are supported by the Environment Agency, the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, the Chartered Institution for Waste Management and other independent Bodies.
