We pride ourselves on being a Company that upholds high standards for Health & Safety both within the workplace and for all aspects of our operations. This is why JWS Waste are proud to announce our most recent accident statistics.

In the last 7 years, our workforce has grown from 50 to 90 employees. In addition to our company growth, we have continued to show our dedication to our primary values: high service standards, environmental support and being compliant with regards to both legislation and Health & Safety.

Since 2009, JWS Waste’s accident rates have dropped from 0.46 to 0.07 per person per year. Our accident statistics are much lower than the industry average, which is currently 1.23. With Health & Safety being such an important aspect of the business, we are proud of this accomplishment.

There are many key contributing factor to our successful statistics. As with many of our successes, our employees play a large role in this. Their commitment to JWS Waste in both mind and heart builds a solid, supporting team. Combined with a reduction in staff turnover and great leadership and support for our employees, our workforce is a key contributor to our success.
