JWS Donate To Salford Central Food Bank For The Christmas Holidays
Christmas donations to the Trussell Trust Salford Central Foodbank
We have an annual tradition for the holiday season where our employees bring in advent calendars to be donated to the Trussell Trust Salford Central Foodbank in time for the countdown to Christmas.
JWS donated a total of 83 calendars last year from members of our team and also purchased by the Company. Whilst this year we have donated a total of 45 advent calendars but have also made a point to also include food products such as cans and biscuits, and toiletries for the people that the charity supports.
We believe that by donating the food and toiletries, we are providing extra support to the people within our local families. We are happy to be able to show our support in any way that we can and we also hope that the donation of advent calendars will also put smiles on a lot of faces during the countdown to Christmas.
