A focus on environmental best practices means JWS has reduced its carbon footprint by 15% over the year

We’re a business built on sustainability, which is why we are proud to share our recent annual carbon figures. These carbon saving figures are recorded between April 2017 – March 2018.

Our dedication to sustainability and green solutions is what drives us to continue improving our environmental statistics. This includes reducing our carbon footprint across all aspects of our service.

Between April 2017 and March 2018, JWS saw great achievements for our carbon saving figures as a whole. This includes the carbon produced by our vehicles both on and off our site.

We take pride in our modern fleet that meets Euro 5 / 6 standards and our commitment to fleet improvements has results in an 18% carbon reduction compared to last year. Likewise, the carbon footprint of our onsite vehicles also reduced by 10% – a fantastic result all-round.

Our service and operations also had a reduction in carbon compared to the previous year. Our operations as a whole reduced by 15% from last year. With our focus on providing sustainable solution, we also saved over 36% more CO2 through landfill diversion.

Combined with our total carbon footprint reduction of 15%, this highlights our commitment to environmental support and also shows the strong values JWS hold in sustainability and quality.
